In a suprising development, country music star Garth Brooks is set to join forces with the revitalized Dixie Chicks, collectively known as Gaslighter. This highly anticipated collaboration is poised to redefine the genre and usher in a new era of musical brilliance.
The initial inklings of a potential project emerged back in June 2018 when Natalie Maines, of the Dixie Chicks, tantalizingly shared glimpses of their time in the recording studio on Instagram.
While Maines, along with bandmates Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire, tantalized fans with subtle hints about forthcoming music, they remained tight-lipped until a year later. It was then that Maines posted an Instagram video, featuring the trio’s captivating announcement: “Dixie Chicks. Album. Coming.” The excitement intensified as producer Jack Antonoff chimed in with a tantalizing “Someday.”
