In a nostalgic nod to his roots, Goodall performed “Don’t Stop Believin’”—the very same song that won the hearts of the judges during his audition—alongside members of the iconic band Journey. “I never imagined I’d be on this stage with them,” he shared. “The audition was just supposed to be a fun experience, and I never dreamed it would lead to this.”

As the finale progressed, the ten finalists were gradually narrowed down, creating a suspenseful atmosphere. Goodall and fellow finalists Jonasi, Kardinaly, Sky Elements, and Rhythm and Roni anxiously awaited the results. When host Terry Crews finally announced that Goodall had clinched the title, cheers erupted throughout the venue.

“This means everything to Angie and me,” Goodall said, referencing his wife. “It gives us a chance to do something different, get a nice house, and give back to people.” His words resonated deeply with the audience, highlighting the importance of family and dreams fulfilled.

Klum, visibly emotional and supportive, praised Goodall, saying, “I’m beyond excited for him. I know this will change his life.” She recognized his dedication to his work as a janitor and his love for his community, assuring fans that he would remain the same humble man even with newfound fame.

After the whirlwind of emotions, Goodall quipped about Angie’s reaction to his win: “She said, ‘I’m getting my house… and a washer dryer!’” On a more serious note, he acknowledged her unwavering support, stating, “I couldn’t have made it through this without her.”
