Melissa Gilbert Embraces The Beauty Of Aging Naturally

As we get older, we have options and will need to make choices. One of those choices is in regards to how we age, as we can either choose to age gracefully or we can go kicking and screaming all the way to the end.

One person who has made this decision in her life is Melissa Gilbert.

From the time that she was very young, she was always in the spotlight because of her part as Laura Ingalls on the TV show, Little House on the Prairie.

She was only nine years old when that television show became an instant success and she became famous along with it. As she grew up, she grew up with the other people on the show and had a close bond with everyone.

She said that she always loved her job and it was delightful and amazing to grow up in such an environment.

That isn’t where her Hollywood career ended, however, as she played in movies eventually such as The Miracle Worker and the Diary of Anne Frank.

As she got older, however, she found herself needing to keep up a youthful appearance. She had cosmetic procedures done, including Botox, fillers, and breast implants. It wasn’t long before she realized she couldn’t keep up with it forever.

Melissa made a decision in 2015 that was life-changing. She had her breast implants removed and decided to age naturally.

She said that it was one of the smartest things she ever did at that she is enjoying the changes and getting to know herself again.

Now that she is 58, she prioritizes her health and well-being. She lives in the Catskills of New York and has left behind the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is more than something we hear about a celebrity, it’s a lesson for us as to how we can live our life as age catches up with us.
